The story of Faith in Action Westsound is all about our people.
It's about our volunteers, our Board Members, our staff and our recipients. It's about the relationships we build with each other and with our community.
It's the smiling faces behind the counter at Faith in Action Thrift Store, always there with a friendly greeting and a helpful attitude.
Its the ladies who price and put out our treasures on the shelves.
It's the dock workers and pick-up drivers, eager to help you with your donations.
It's the ladies who work away busily in the back room, sorting and pricing the linens and clothes that we offer for such amazingly low prices in the front.
Its about our General Store Manager Leslie, who remains calm in the busiest of times, a cool breeze on a hot summer day.

It's the Senior Services Staff members (all 2 of us), who genuinely care about each individual that asks for services and who bend over backward to try and help in any way possible.
It's the Board Members who take time out of their very busy schedules to ensure that we stay solvent and on course - always adhering to the vision of our founders and supporters.

Its the volunteers who travel long distances, up dirt roads, and often into desperate circumstances to help our senior and disabled neighbors.

Most of all it is about our neighbors who have aged into the need for a little extra help with the basics of life.
It is about our mission to help them live independently.
